What employment medicals are available from Expedite Health?

We offer a range of specific employment medicals. These are either required to ensure ongoing fitness where there are specific workplace hazards (e.g. HSE appointed doctor medicals) or to certify individuals as meeting a specific fitness standard (e.g. for offshore work, cabin crew or safety critical roles). Medicals for specific fitness standards can be either statutory (e.g. CAA cabin crew, HGV drivers) or non-statutory (e.g. OEUK medicals).

Types of specific medical that we offer:

  1. HSE medicals

    • Asbestos, licensed and non-licensed
    • Ionising radiation, for classified radiation workers
    • Lead medics, for those working under the Control of Lead at Work regulations

  2. Industry specific medicals

    • OEUK – for offshore workers, including shoulder measurement and in water training certification
    • Safety critical medicals
    • CAA Cabin Crew medicals
    • DVLA group 2 driver medicals (completion of the D4 form) for heavy goods or passenger carrying vehicles
    • Energy Institute / OEUK wind turbine worker medicals (including Chester Step Test)

  3. Bespoke medicals

    • Detailed medicals required for certain industries. Examples include the Oil and Gas and Mining sectors.
    • Requirements defined by the client company, often to meet a wider corporate medical standard.
    • Can include blood tests, travel vaccinations, drug & alcohol testing, detailed physician examination, chest X-rays for visa purposes.
