What happens at a work-related travel assessment?

For travellers, it is important to appreciate that vaccine-preventable disease is only one part of the assessment. Employees who are travelling with their roles will also require advice on other risks for example bite prevention, hygiene advice and information on region-specific risks such Zika virus.

Expedite Health currently offers the following vaccines:

  • Hepatitis B (including immunity testing where required)

  • Hepatitis A

  • Typhoid

  • Meningitis ACWY

  • Japanese Encephalitis

  • Diphtheria / Tetanus / Polio

  • Rabies

A note on Expedite Health's vaccine provision

Expedite Health is not a Yellow Fever centre, therefore this vaccine (which is only required once) needs to be obtained elsewhere.

Expedite Health does not currently offer Dengue vaccine as this currently requires assessment of prior exposure as per Department of Health guidance, and further guidance on testing for Dengue exposure is awaited.
